At the first meeting of the 2015/16 year, AAUW members brought items for the STEM store which is located at Westside elementary school. The store was created in an effort to provide rewards for students who do well in the science, technology, engineering and math courses at their school.
Pictured with some of the items are the co-chairs Wilhemenia Sibley and Brenda Craw.

AAUW STEM STORE to open this fall at Westside Elementary School in Warner Robins, GA
STEM STORE to open fall 2015 at Westside Elementary School, and the faculty, staff and AAUW committee led by Brenda Craw and Wilhemenia Sibley could not be more excited! Teachers are making a list of what they feel should be available in the store, and AAUWers will soon be seeking donationed items as well as purchasing items. Students will earn points starting this fall in their STEM-related curriculum and will in turn use their points to purchase the STEM-appropriate items provided by the ladies of the Houston-Peach AAUW branch. Helping hands are welcome, as we move forward with this very exciting project to encourage 5th graders at Miller to do well in school!!
