STEM STORE to open fall 2015 at Westside Elementary School, and the faculty, staff and AAUW committee led by Brenda Craw and Wilhemenia Sibley could not be more excited!  Teachers are making a list of what they feel should be available in the store, and AAUWers will soon be seeking donationed items as well as purchasing items.  Students will earn points starting this fall in their STEM-related curriculum and will in turn use their points to purchase the STEM-appropriate items provided by the ladies of the Houston-Peach AAUW branch.  Helping hands are welcome, as we move forward with this very exciting project to encourage 5^th graders at Miller to do well in school!!
