Dr. Ella O. Williams, author and teacher, will be the program speaker. She is recently retired from a 24-year career at Pierce College where she taught English, African American Literature and Ethnic Humanities. Her latest book is Blackberry Women focusing on issues black women confronted on rural farms. but this book also brings to focus some tragic images from social and moral perspectives.
