2020-2021 Officers

The May meeting of the Houston-Peach Branch of AAUW was held at the pavilion at North Peach Park in Byron. This was the first all in-person meeting in over a year, and everyone enjoyed visiting with each other. Attendees brought take-out for dinner, with dessert provided by several members.

After a brief business meeting, Five-Star Awards and Named Gift Honorees were announced, and new officers installed. Five-Star Awards were presented to Marlene Humphry, Carrie Smith, and Laurie Shaw, and Named Gift Honorees were Evelyn Merk and Margaret Mathews.  New officers for the coming year included Carolyn Schomer and Carrie Smith, Co-Program Vice Presidents; Sharon Dawson, Treasurer; and Wilhemenia Sibley, Membership Vice-President.
