The annual sorting and pricing of used books in preparation for the branch’s annual Used Book Sale is well under way. Under the leadership of Co-chairs Marlene Humphry and Chrissy Lutz (above), sorting and pricing sessions have been going on all summer on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.  This should be a banner year for volume, as there have been large donations of books from several sources, such as the ABC Bookstore and the Friends of the Library. There are particularly large selections of science fiction and romance, both of which are always popular categories!  Carolyn Schomer also brought in a complete hard-back Zane Gray collection in mint condition. This year’s sale will be held October 24 – 26 at the Old Houston Mall.
